Small Groups, Sunday Schools & Bible Study Groups

Mountain View has a variety of Small Groups, Sunday Schools and Bible Study Groups. These groups have been created to serve varying age groups and persons with different levels of interest or theological understanding. All of these groups are open to anyone in our community. We encourage you to join in on your own or call the church office for more information.

Nursery: Our nursery cares for children up to age 4 years old, during our Sunday and evening Wednesday services.

Children: Children's Small Groups is for K-5 children, every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the classrooms downstairs.

Youth: Middle School & Sr. High Youth classes are every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in the Youth Room downstairs. Led by Bud Blide.

Life 101: Presently participating in Grand Sweep Studies every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in classroom 110 downstairs. Led by Bob Slagle.

Purpose Driven Church: A casual group for the introduction to Rick Warren's reknowned book "Purpose Driven Church", every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in classroom 106 downstairs. Led by Cindy Thorne.

Purpose Driven Church: A casual group for the introduction to Rick Warren's reknowned book "Purpose Driven Church",Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in classroom 102 downstairs. Led by Joe Funk.

Grand Sweep Bible Study: A casual group focusing on general Bible study Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in classroom 105 downstairs. Led by various facilitators.

Grand Sweep Bible Study: A casual group focusing on general Bible study Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in classroom 105 downstairs. Led by Brad Moore.

Senior Adults: A casual group for in-depth, book-by-book study of the Bible Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the ground level conference room. Led by Jim McGrath.

Men of All Ages: Presently participating in Grand Sweep Studies every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. in classroom 106 downstairs. Led by Gary Horne.

Seekers of the Truth: In depth Bible study open to adults of all ages, every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in classroom 111 downstairs. Led by Julie Funk.

Timemakers: Presently participating in Grand Sweep Studies every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Led by Judi Horne.
