Troop 714 has been delivering the promise of Scouting to the youth of the northeast Cobb county area for over 40 years. More information is available at the Troop 714 Website or by email to Troop 714 Scoutmaster.

Troop 714 meets on Monday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and welcomes new members (boys having completed the 5th grade and up to 18 years of age) and adult support. The Scouts of Troop 714 are active in the typical Scouting activities of camping, hiking, swimming, character building, etc. as well as providing community service through Scouting for Food and other projects for MVUMC and for the community. Our scouting events calendar may be viewed on the Troop 714 Website.

Cub Scout Pack 1714

Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.

Pack 1714 meets at Mountain View Elementary School (3448 Sandy Plains Road) at 7 p.m., every 3rd Thursday. Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can not join Cub Scouting, but they may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting or Venturing programs.

More about Pack 1714, including contact information, can be found on the Pack 1714 Website.
