Children's Ministry

Mountain View United Methodist Church offers a variety of formal and informal ministries for children. Our church staff works closely with church members to create classes, events and gatherings that build a spiritual foundation for children and help to promote values and morals that children need to become well adjusted and successful adults.

We belive that our children's ministries are extremely important. It is very important for children, as individuals, to develop a spiritual self and an awareness of God and biblical teachings. For the child's family there is the comfort in knowing that children with a strong Christian foundation are less likely to become troubled youth and are more likely to have better interpersonal relationships.

(WOW) monthly On Wednesday's for Kids

Our most popular children's ministry is part of our popular family ministry - "WOW", which stands for monthly on Wednesdays. Our WOW for Kids is for youngsters in 1st through 5th grades. WOW Kids meet at 7:00 p.m., every Wednesday, after the church family dinner and prayer service. Our WOW Kids participate in mission projects, music, drama and Bible lessons in a fun and energetic program.
