Bethlehem Walk
The purpose of Bethlehem Walk is to focus our community’s attention on Christ as the center of celebration during the
holiday season. We do that by re-creating the entire city of Bethlehem on our church grounds. The best description is
that we have a nightly performance of a 2 acre interactive play where you can take a walk through the city’s streets and
stop and talk with the potter or the baker. See the Roman soldiers open the city and watch the changing of the tower
guards at the city gates. You can listen to the storyteller as he weaves tales of the heroes of old and sign the census
to show you were there. See an Online Photo Album to get a better idea of what to expect when you visit us!
This year we are encouraging all those who have ever helped in the production of Bethlehem Walk to "Come Home to
Bethlehem in 2010." We will be hosting our church’s founding pastor, Dr. Stuart Greene and his wife, Becky Greene,
the founder of Bethlehem Walk at Mountain View on Sunday December 5, 2010. The dates for this year’s presentations are
Saturday, December 4 and Sunday, December 5 for the first weekend. Then the preschool morning is from 9:30-12:00 noon on
Friday, December 10 with an evening performance that night, as well. The final performance for 2010 is on Saturday evening
December 11. All evening performances are from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
