"Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those are perishing."
2 Corinthians 2:14-15

The Mountain View Women group exists to support women in our church at every stage of life and to help them grow their relationships with Christ through classes, speakers, retreats, service projects, and regular meetings.  We do this with a great spirit of fun and fellowship.  Contact women@mvumc.org for more information or to join our MVW e-group.
Our activities include:
Monthly Meetings: MVW meet the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Special Events: The MVW enjoy regular outings such as lunch, the movies, day trips and more.
Church volunteers: Many of our members serve as ushers, greeters, Sunday School teachers and committee members. We also help with outreach efforts such as MUST Ministries and Vacation Bible School.
Annual Retreat: This is a weekend getaway where we focus on rest and spiritual renewal.
Mother Daughter Tea: Held in May, this is one of our most anticipated and well-attended events.
Annual Christmas Ornament Exchange: Held on the second Tuesday in December, this is a chance for us to slow down and enjoy the Christmas season with good food and friends.
Ongoing Service Project: We strive to lift up women and children at the Cherokee Family Violence Center with our prayers, time, and donations.
Angels in Action: This group meets at the church at 10 a.m. on the first Thursday of the month to work on special projects, help with church activities – and then enjoy lunch together.
Book Club: This group draws up a reading list for the year in January and then meets monthly to discuss each one.
Stitch-n-Chatter: This caring group of ladies enjoys fellowship while working on individual knitting/crocheting projects as well as making prayer quilts, meals and more for church and community members.
