Counseling Center

Thank you for visiting the Mountain View Counseling Center. 
Located in Marietta, Georgia, the Mountain View Counseling Center is a community-focused, church-based counseling center with a commitment to excellence and sensitivity to the needs of all persons in need of quality care.

While the Counseling Center is at Mountain View UMC, we are eager to serve anyone regardless of their church affiliation.  All services offered are consistent with the spiritual and ethical standards of the Christian faith.  Our licensed counselor keep all sessions confidential, and all calls are confidential.

The Counseling Center at Mountain View UMC is a ministry to the church and community offering experienced, competent psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.  These services are delivered in a manner consistent with sound psychological and Christian principles.
 
The Counseling Center is staffed by Tom Dixon L.C.S.W., a clinical social worker with 40 years experience in the mental health field, and a member of Mountain View UMC since 1988. 
 
Office hours are by appointment. The standard fee is $70.00 per hour, which may be partially covered by some insurance policies.
