Children's Ministries

Join our children as they journey with Jesus in our Expedition Kids program! Our new curriculum allows children from preschool to fifth grade a chance to learn and grow together in Christ. Expedition Kids is a dynamic program that teaches children about Jesus and encourages them to build relationships with Him and each other. They may think it’s all fun and games – but they’re really learning memory verses, how to pray, how to read their Bibles and how to listen and respond to God.

Sundays:

9:30 Sunday School
Explorers (ages 0-23 months) and Hikers (ages 2-3) – nursery

Rangers – prek-kindergarten

Adventurers 1-6^th grade

10:30-11 transition time (children’s worship room)

11:00 Expedition group worship
Meet in “base camp” for group worship, which features music, Bible stories, games, and drama.

Adventurers (1^st-4^th grade) small group study and activities
Club 56 (5^th and 6^th grade) small group study and activities
Groups meet back up at base camp for a final wrap-up, prayer and pick up by parents.

Wednesdays:

Our Expedition Kids and their families are invited to join Mountain View for dinner on Wednesdays. After the meal, our kids branch out into various activities. There is a nursery for children 3 and under.

Prek-6^th grade: rotate between choir, Bible lesson/activity, and snack/video/free play. Our 5^th and 6^th graders participate in a drama program that will feature seasonal performances for church and family members.
